EXPERIENCE
Mike has photographed over 1,000 weddings. His photographic career began at age 22 when he accepted a position as Staff Photographer for the Library of Virginia. He transitioned into television news as a TV news photographer-editor. Mike was issued a White House Press Pass at the age of 25 and covered President Reagan at the White House and on the road. He later covered Presidents George H. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barak Obama. Other assignments have included TV interviews with Mother Teresa and Israeli Prime Ministers Yitzhak Shamir and Benjamin Netanyahu. His television footage has also appeared on ABC World News Tonight and Good Morning America.
Mike and his wife Carol have five children. Of their children, Nancy is a full-time wedding photographer for Mike, Ellen is Mike’s main second photographer, Ginger works as a wedding videographer and Joseph and Grace have pursued other vocations.
